Students of the Month for September

Congratulations to the 2 students of the Month for September:

Frans Henderson
While being new to TCIS and coming to terms with all of the procedures, people and classes in another language, this student has worked hard to improve his language skills. He pushes himself beyond what feels comfortable to be a risk taker in his learning. He has a great principled attitude and continues to question and inquire in every subject. This student is reflective on what he does and does not know and sets himself the challenge to improve. He is friendly and genuinely helpful to other students, along with having a smile and welcoming attitude appreciated by teachers and students.

This student has shown he is very caring by offering his time to the after school Elementary soccer program. His kind and encouraging words towards the younger students sets an example of how to serve others and be balanced at TCIS.

Chae Weon Emily Lee
This student has shown a determination to succeed in classes this year. She quietly goes about the business of learning, and is developing the courage to be more of a risk taker and working towards improving her areas of weakness as a student. She has taken control of her learning, showing maturity to be reflective as a learner and setting herself goals to improve.
She is a positive student and has grown in her organizational skills this year. She takes pride in the quality of her work and shows principled attitudes in all that she does. This student takes time for her relationships, encouraging and supporting others to show her caring nature. This student is developing the skills to be a balanced learner and person for the future. She is helping to make TCIS a quality school!
