Safe vacation to all!

As I am about to head to the airport for my trip to Australia and Singapore, I wanted to take the opportunity to say one more thank you, and to wish everyone a safe vacation.

We all need rest and recuperation for our body, mind and soul.
Take the time to do so!

Congratulations Class of 2020!

Also my apologies for not posting the Student of the Month for April...

Seung Hyun Nam:

This student has shown herself to be a critical thinker and communicator in a variety of subjects. While most people would say she is quiet, that does not represent her true identity as a person or learner. She is tenacious and determined to succeed through her hard work, inquiring mind, attention to detail, and acceptance of feedback. Being exposed to new subjects and new ways of thinking in the MYP has only strengthened her as a learner as she shown she is open-minded to try new activities and subjects. In areas where she is challenged, she has become more determined to do her best and to push herself out of her comfort zone to improve, showing herself as a risk taker. She is an earnest and loyal friend, reaching out to new students and showing her thoughtfulness and caring nature on many occasions. She shows gentle leadership skills, leading through her role modelling, coupled with a smile, a positive “can do” attitude, and a genuine acceptance of others. She is principled and self reliant with her work, and values all tasks equally as a way of improving herself. As she has grown in confidence she has also contributed more to the community through her classes and extra curricular activities.
