Design Update 1/29/2015

This last week I made some time to visit a Grade 7 design class.

Students were busily working on designing and creating their wooden boxes.

Unit 3: Wood

Students are working on "Wood" unit. 

Their challenge is use wood to make a product 

that is useful for our everyday life. 

Unit 2: Safety Poster

                            Students created safety poster to warn 

                                 people of dangers that exist in 

                                    the technology work room.

  

Unit 1: Animation

Students worked on "Animation" unit. 
Their challenge was to turn a written story 
(one of Aesop’s Fables) into an animated story
 for those who have difficulty in reading.

Welcome to MYP Year 1 Technology class.

The major focus in MYP year 1 Technology is to enable 
students to become skillful problem solvers by 
understanding and using technology  in different area, 
such as material, system, information to 

create products using a process call "The Design Cycle."
