Touch Rugby Jamboree at GSIS

On Saturday morning, TCIS ES and SS travelled to GSIS to play Touch Rugby.
Many 6th Graders have been playing this sport in ES and it was a good opportunity for them to help some new students to also learn about the game.

It was a really FULL day for the players with 6 games and some teams playing 3 and 4 games back to back.
Thanks must go to the coaches, Mr Karsten, Mr McDougall, Mr Henderson and Mr Zickefoose for giving their time after school and on the weekend for our students.

Students using their lockers...

Are you using your locker Grade 6?
Parents, is your child using their locker? Is it clean and tidy?

We are trying to help Grade 6 students use their lockers well and to keep them organized.

We want to keep the top of the locker free of bags and other books and papers.
Any textbooks left on top of the locker will be taken to the SS office for collection.
Locks should be locked back onto the locker and not left open or on top.

Let's all help each other to keep our lockers tidy and organized.

4 things we want our teachers to know about us...

At the end of May, Grade 5 students completed a keynote to help their new teachers in Grade 6 to get to know them a little better.
Each student from the class completed a list of things they really wanted to share.
