Congratulations to Student of the Month:
Brandon Cho
During February this student has grown in many ways. He was challenged by some of the group work and tasks in different classes like PE and Science. He constantly tried hard despite the challenging nature of the units, and his persistent work ethic was noted when this student was pushed out of his comfort zone. He has been a true risk taker in Science and PE, and was able to rise to the occasion and work very hard to overcome his weaknesses. In a variety of subjects and classes, he is now making choices that are appropriate, and using the problem solving and self control strategies that have been taught to him.
In Intramurals he is a fantastic player in the table tennis team. He often practices diligently by himself to improve, and is very open-minded and polite if he is asked to play with others. This shows a willingness to be part of the wider school community and to be balanced in and out of the classroom.
This student reflects deeply when given feedback from teachers and students, and tries his best to work to his potential and to improve his learning. He is keen in class, rushes to get there early and greets others enthusiastically, showing a great sense of TCIS spirit.
