Moving up to Grade 9/ Parent teacher Conferences

In the past 2 homerooms, students have been finding out about their options for Grade 9.
Ms Cho, the Grade 8 counsellor ran a session about what to expect in Grade 9, along with course selection information.
Last Wednesday in homeroom, students were issued with a Grade 9 course selection form to take home and discuss as a family.
Students will be inputting their course selections on April 12th during homeroom time.
The presentation that Ms Cho shared with Grade 8 students, was also shared on Schoology in the parent group by Mr Karsten. If you would like more information please contact Ms Cho in counselling.




Thank you to all of those parent who came to see teachers during Parent Teacher conferences. It was great to see the TCIS community together supporting strong learning, and communicating together.

Mr Ian Ferguson also shared on Schoology some interesting and good advice on how we can all help our teens in this digital age to ease their social media anxiety.
